The months of supply for The Woodlands homes are 5.5. 6 months of supply is a stable market and anything above 6 is a buyer’s market and anything below 6 months of supply is a seller’s market. The number of homes sold has increased 7% over last year and there are 67% more homes on the market. Part of the reason is the number of days on the market which is higher this year. One of the reasons for more homes on the market and higher days on market is because of homes being overpriced.
